RENTAL OPTIONS
|
To chose a rental option, it’s important to understand your skills and motivation,
and those of the people in your group, in order to choose the most appropriate option.
You can rent a boat and sail it yourself (bareboat), request the presence of a skipper
and a hostess on board or you can take part in a cruise by joining an existing group.
Bareboat
The bareboat option is the ideal solution for anyone with sufficient experience
sailing who can form his/her own crew with family and friends. Anyone who rents
a boat is, for all intents and purposes, responsible for the boat in the eyes of
the ship company and the rental agency, who in turn are responsible for enquiring
about the skill level of the person in charge and asking for his/her nautical license.
Crewed charter
The boat with a skipper option is the best choice for those who have little
or no experience sailing a boat. Our skippers are professionals that completely
understand the craft and the navigation area selected. They assume technical responsibility
in emergency situations as well as give advice about the best route and good points
to drop anchor, introducing the crew to the art of sailing. This option does not
include any culinary service or anything else except for steering the boat and helping
to sail it.
Flottilla
The flotilla option includes renting single crafts that sail on preset
itineraries. This is ideal for those who are tackling the role of skipper for the
first time, representing a perfect compromise between reliance and safety. A professional
crew is located on our head boat that helps with the maneuvers of the fleet and
is always ready to intervene in case of an emergency. Each boat is free to sail
with the others or by itself but returns to the group in the evening with the rest
of the fleet. |
